Nice warm morning! March 2, 2011, darn close or else new record low. Probably much colder at some other choice places near by. The silver lining is that it is totally sunny and once the sun comes on it will warm up nicely.These caribou were eating calcium chloride laced sand off the road. There were three of them, but the smartest one went off in the bush once I stopped. I just kept creeping up little by little until I got really close to them. You can see the tiny spike antlers on the little guy. I have 7 kms to drive home once I turn off the Tagish road. These were a couple of kms off the main road.
